First Show

First show today, I guess it didn't go as well as I was hoping it would go. Had more problems then I expected. Seems like a couple of mics are having problems, don't know if its because of frequency or something. Hopefully it'll better tomorrow. Also got some feedback from a scene, not too happy at myself about it, gotta remember to check the levels tomorrow. Other than that, general complain was the voices were not loud enough towards the middle of the crowd. Hopefully that will be better tomorrow also.

I still stand by my initial stance, that the sound board should always be in the room, and not up in a booth. Being in the actual room allows the controller to hear first-hand of how it sounds like, much better than going through windows and/or monitors which changes alot of things.

The crew kinda got annoyed at the orders people were giving in the middle of the show when nothing could be done about it during the show, sometimes people just need to chill and just let us do our job, its not like we will turn a blind eye to any problem we see. Onwards!

Random Sports Thoughts:
Whats up with this Glazer dude trying to take over Man Utd. man. Honestly, all he's doing is just trying gain control on Man Utd. and turn it into a money making machine. He doesn't care about soccer, he doesn't care about the fans, all he cares about is making money. I would hate to see Man Utd. being owned by him. Raising ticket prices will be one possibility already, or even selling off Old Trafford. I really hope that his bid to takeover is unsuccessful, or else it'll be a dark dark era ahead for the Red Devils. Its not like he'll be like the Chelsea owner when he pours money into the team. Glazer will just draw and suck all the cash from the team, and then sell it off. Sad sad day......In other news, looks like this year's Memorial Cup will be a good one. London Knights being the host, now with Rimouski Oceanic + Sydney Crosby coming, it will certainly be an interesting tournament....

Thats it for tonight...Signing off...
