Lesson Learned

NEVER try to read, or do anyting that requirse concenration, when the TV is on showing the Leafs game. In my case, any sport for that matter.

Read an article...4 times, and at the end, did not remember anything from it.

Random Thoughts:
Great game though. Belfour made up for his brain cramp play to give Boston the lead by giving a spectacular performance in the late stages of the game. What more can you say about McCabe?
Ottawa finally losingm 6-1-0, when is Nasville gonna lose?
Freeman is ahead in the fantasy pool, great...must climb my way back
Getting killed in ET's pool, lost 0-7 the past week, what happened there?? Second last now

Late night pool

Play pool until 5am, getting breakfast, and then sleeping for an hour and a half sure is a good way to relax after midterms? I don't know, I just know I'll be getting a good night sleep tonight.

For some reason, I've noticed my blogs being shorter and shorter, while things I say on here are getting more random and random. But the good thing is I'm updating! I don't know. Before it was every-so-often, but quite long. Now its very short and sometimes more than once a day. Meh

More food for thought

-does things change that quickly?
-there is only a line seperating something from happening and the same thing not happening

Back to psych

More food for thought

-don't over-think...sometimes thinking too much and looking at a situation from every possible direction will do more harm than good in the long run
-you gotta do what you gotta do
-seize the opportunities in front of you, they may never arise again
-cherish the good memories, they might be all you have in the future

Thats all for now.
Back to psych readings.

Random Thoughts

The last few weeks have been a blur - I have no clue what I have learned, what I have done, nor what I have accomplished
Leafs are on a roll, Lindros and Allison both looks good.
Its better to be speak at the right time, then to speak out on everything
Hopefully Cards can win two more and go on to the WS and take down the White Sox, though I would love to see Clemens with another ring
How about the Pats, .500 team...and Bucs losing their QB after 5-1 start.
Midterms coming up, going to die
Love does not come at first sight, it does not always have typical Hollywood beginning where they fall in love at first sight - it takes the initiative of one individual, and the willingness to give-it-a-try by the other, and compromises of both individual
School sucks, reading sucks
F.R.O.G. = can't be more true

More to come.

Tribute to Tom Cheek

FOr those who don't know, Tom Cheek has been the voice of the Toronto Blue Jays, from the very first pitch in their franchise back in 1977, to last season 2004. He NEVER missed one game, 4306 straight Blue Jays games, he have been in the booth, until the suddden passing of his father, causing him to miss his first ever Blue Jays game. His most famous line "Touch 'em all Joe, you'll never hit a bigger home run in your life" in the 1993 World Series will always remain a historical line for Blue Jays fans. Tom has been battling brain cancer for a year and a bit now, and he passed away this past Sunday, Oct 9, 2005. For more information, check out www.tributetotom.com

You will be missed.
