Summerlicious

How awesome is this? I got reservations for Canon AND North 44 for dinner (one with parents, one with friends) and also got Jump Cafe for lunch. Gonna spend quite alot money, but I'm sure its worth it. Would've tried Auberge Du Pommier if I could understand their menu.

Been watching "stump the schwab", that guy is nuts! His sports trivia is just...crazy! He probably forgets more than we know.

Grads. Read previous blog =D

Its been a pleasure

Can't believe it, 4 years of high school will soon be wrapping up. Seems like it wasn't that long ago when I walked through the cafe doors for the first time, getting a locker, and then getting lost in the school searching for the way out. Still remember all the struggles with finding classrooms on the first day of school, and of course, the first time being able to go to Woodside for lunch every day. Many things have changed in 4 years. Not only do we feel the school is very small, we feel the classrooms are getting boring, not only are we able to walk around the school with our eyes closed, we dread the lunches that we have to survive on Woodside food. No longer are we intimidated or scared of coming to school, but we don't want to leave the school anymore, as we will also be leaving all the friends and memories that we all cherish. We look forward to seeing our friends at the lockers and the hall each day, rather than scared of walking into a classroom full of new faces. High school is a stage in life, in which everyone must go through. You can make it as enjoyable as you want to, or you can make it a horrible stretch of time in your life. While many of the friends that were made will never cross paths again in this journey called life again, they will be remembered for the fun times, memories and laughter that were shared. In the mean time, friends that have been friends at this stage of their life, that may cross paths again in the future, will always have this period of time in their life in which they will be able to refer to, reminising all the memories from this period of time. While those entering these 4 years as great friends, and leaving as great friends, will always be able to remember how much closer they became as a result of these 4 years.

While these few days maybe "good bye" to many, this will also be "see you later" to many. Regardless of which category anyone is under, these few words will be the same to everyone. "Best of luck, and never stop believe in yourself, your dreams, and your abilities"

This stage is not the end, but rather a beginning into the next stage in our lives, where everyone will go seperate ways, but chasing the same goal. To be the best they can be.

Been Awhile

Has been a week since I blogged, somehow it only felt like yesterday that I was on here. Anyways, too much has happened this week, too much to write on here, so I'm not even going to try to summarize it. I guess the only good things that happened this week has been the past 2 nights. Really enjoyed being able to sit inside SkyDome (NOT Rogers Centre) just enjoying the ball game between my 2 fav teams. Awesome game game on Monday, enjoyed seeing the best player in the NL (Pujols), against the top pitcher in the AL (Halladay). Monday: So got there early just so I can get in when gates open. But rain started pouring to hid inside the Jays shop and started watching CNN's coverage of the Jackson trial. Eventually went back to lineup outside the gates and waited for a good 10 mins before the gates opened. Dashed in, and got in at the corner of the Cards dugout. I can tell you it was a good and bad thing. Good because it was a very good spot to get autographs. Ended up getting Jason Maquis and Larry Walker on Monday. Bad thing was that while Larry Walker was signing, have like 20 people just shoving/pushing forward all at once, so now I have a bruised line across my ribs. Today: Got there early again at 5ish, and waited until 5:30 again when the gates opened, and went down the first baseline instead this time. Met a couple of guys while I was waiting for autographs, one came from St.Louis but was born in T.O. Got Eckstein, Edmonds and La Russa today. Pretty good overall. Wish I was able to get Walker again, or even Pujols, but guess Pujols is still pissed after going 0 for 4 yesterday against the Doc.

Fun time is over, reality check time...*sigh*

Must Resist

This is bad. Was online looking for more good deals on Friday after picking up a set of Logitech x-230 for $20 (reg. $80), and came across a few things that I realized I "needed", but all of them are more "wanted". Saw this nice Swiss Gear Leather Laptop case, reg $130 down to $80, might pick one up over summer for university if the price goes down any lower. Also saw a Samsonite Leather Laptop case, pretty close to the Swiss Gear one, and its going for $80 down from $140, was tempted to get it then but had to resist. Then realized I probably need a wireless router soon, and popped over to bestbuy.ca and found an ok deal on both d-link and linksys wireless-G router. Waiting for price drop in summer again. Also figured I should get an USB-Hub, since I'm unplugging and plugging in all the time, probably not good for the computer, so theres another thing I "need". List goes on, must resist temptation to spend.

Sports Cooler Talk:
How about the As offence coming alive against the Jays. Road trip haven't been too good to the Jays yet, losing 4 of 6. Hopefully they'll do better against the Cubbies the next 3 games...Game 6 was dominated by the defending champs. Without Wade, it seems the Heats is just not as good of a team. I'm not saying Wade is a legitimate superstar yet; he is on his way there, but playing with Shaq helps alot. Will be interesting to see how the Heats respond tomorrow night at home with Wade still listed under game-time-decision...With Michael Bishop's return to the boatman, Argos got almost their entire Grey-Cup winning team back from last year. Hoping for another strong year from them, Damon Allen will need to play like he's young again, but this should be an exciting year coming off a championship year...NHL and NHLPA meeting alot again, aren't they sick of each other yet? Seems like they're still at the stage for determining the propery way to crunch the numbers. Long way to go until a deal can be struck, but at this pace, hopefully we'll see Sidney Crosby in an NHL uniform in the not-too-distant future...Looking forward to June 13-15, when the big red birds (St. Louis Cardinals) will be in town, going to be heading down for a couple of games, should be good ones.

Nothing-ness

Nothing special since last post. Finally started getting my MIRs in, after waiting for it for like 4 months. Got responses from all my universities. Sadly was rejected in my first choice, claiming my English mark didn't meet their requirements o.O Even though my mark is right at what they said the English mark has to be. I guess I was cutting it close, but its English! How can I possible get any higher?! Oh wellz, now just deciding if I want to go to their alternative consideration, or somewhere else. Got a week or so to decide.

Sports Thoughts:
It won't be my blog without going into some sports cooler talk. Nice to see Suns rebounding to win game 4. They played alot better than game 1-3, but only winning by such a small margin. Looking at San Antonio winning in 5 or 6 (hopefully 6 just to make it a bit more interesting). Detroit and Miami going down to best of 3. Tight series, Wade looks to be the key-player in this series. Highly likely to go to 7 in my opinion, hoping Detroit will prevail...

We gone...(Cabbie is the best)
