thanks pris
made me sound stupid, at least you identified yourself, or else people would think i'm really nuts! here is the update you asked for edie, even though it won't be much of one. nothing really special lately, had a great day with my high school friends on thurs night, pool -> dinner -> bowling, what a day. this coming week should also be a good one, looking forward to it.
been getting asked alot lately about if i'm ready for university, how i'm feeling etc etc. to be honest, i don't feel anything yet. maybe because i've been quiet busy with work and what not, i haven't been nervous or anxious like some people i know, nor have i feared whats coming. i think in a week or two, i will start feeling something. but i'm open-minded, and i think i'm welcoming this next stage of life with open arms, and just seeing what God has instored for me, which is why i haven't really felt much emotions yet. i guess as it gets closer to the move-in date, i will start feeling something, but right now, i will just wait patiently for that day to arrive.
now sports time! i see all the weird expressions on all your faces, i doubt many of you will even get past this paragraph! i've been blogging quite often on sportspages.com, which is why i haven't had much here. still hoping the jays can make a run for the post season. they are not that far out from a playoff spot. hopefully they can put a strong late august, combining with the return of halladay and lilly, the jays can make a strong push for the east division. i really feel if the jays are to make the playoffs, they will be aiming for the east, and not the wildcard. i feel like whoever loses the west (anaheim or oakland) will be the wildcard team. with 6 games left against the bronx bombers, and 7 games against the reigning world champion, the best shot for blue jays is win those series, and they will be mere games away from the division title. the jays have played well against their division rivals in recent years, and with how strong the jays have played against top teams, i hope they will be playing meaningful ball in september. i've been very impressed with how the team has stayed well above the .500 mark with injuries to lilly and halladay. halladay is almost a sure thing every 5 days, so with his return, hopefully they can kickstart a good streak and make a strong push to play well into october.
for those who actually read down to here, congratulations. in the mean time, going to be enjoying a bit of rogers cup tomorrow. as cabbie would say "we gone".
